Making a new brand of organic dairy powder product
Wattle Health Australia collaborates with Chinese nutritional dairy product company, Nouriz to create new brand of organic dairy powder product. Nouriz has strong experience in selling premium dairy products in China’s market. So, the partnership will provide Wattle Health a secured partner to sell and distribute milk powder in the China’s market as well as offer new opportunities to strengthen its footprint. According to release, in this agreement Nouriz and Wattle Health set up a 50/50 join venture to manufacture and sell a range of Australian nutritional organic dairy products into China’s market.
Corio Bay Dairy Group (CBDG) is developing an organic milk spray drying facility in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Its Joint Venture partners Wattle Health Australia, Organic Dairy Farmers of Australia, and Niche Dairy came together with a desire to satisfy the increasing customer appetite for organic products, including an organic nutritional powder range. Likewise, Nouriz imports dairy product from the Corio Bay Dairy Group (CBDG) and looking into further opportunities with CBDG products.
Motto to enter in China’s nutrition market
The aforesaid agreement will have access to a range of high quality organic powder for sale into China’s market in the first half quarter of 2020 with the Corio Bay. Nouriz Fine Food Co-Chairman Liu Ning says Chinese consumer assumes dairy products from Australia to be premium due to quality system from farm to market.
Wattle Health Executive Chairman, Lazarus Karasavvidis said, “Nouriz has a strong on the ground presence and deep experience in selling premium dairy products in the China market. China consumers also consider dairy products from Australia to be premium due to the quality systems from farm to market.”
“The company anticipate for sales to increase quarter on quarter as brand awareness and distribution channels are developed both domestically and intenationally. Production and manufacturing costs were higher due firstly to the brand redesign and relaunch of slight innocents across numerous distribution channels, including Chemist Warehouse and Big W.” Wattle said.
