Segway-Ninebot launched its range of electric bikes in the Chinese market. They displayed the brand new bikes in an event organized in Beijing, China. In the presence of several hundred guests and journalists, they unveiled Ninebot eMoped and Ninebot eScooter. They also showcased two prototypes Ninebot eScoooter T and Segway Apex.
Luke Gao, the Chairman, and CEO of Segway –Ninebot said, “Three years ago, Seyway-Ninebot decided to redefine the industry with innovations in intelligence. Today, we are introducing our electric bikes with true intelligence, with the goal of providing our customers with cutting-edge technologies and smart functions that make their rides more comfortable and convenient.”
The vehicles provide a more eco-friendly solution to mobility
Ninebot eScooter and eMoped are loaded with Ninebot AirLock keyless system and Ninebot RideyGo that can lock and unlock the bikes automatically. The bikes also have a smart battery management system. This helps in enabling parallel connections, fast charging and state of health check. With assistance from GPS, BDS and base stations the users can track the vehicle anytime.
Ninebot eSCooter is a smart vehicle that can be used as a mid to long-distance urban mobility. Packed with power the top model E200P can go up to 62mph and can accelerate from 0 to 25mph in 3 seconds. The eScooter has front and rear disc brakes and support Maxxis semi-slick sport tubeless tires. The vehicle shows tremendous control and adaptability on the road.
On the other hand, Ninebot eMoped features a colorful exterior with some smart functions. The moped weight 121 lbs and comes in a compact length of 5.25 ft. The vehicle has a 48v brushless motor. There are three different models of eMoped in respect of range. It also features a user-friendly digital dashboard and a reliable braking system.
