SAP and Microsoft Build up Cloud Partnership for three years

Collaboration aims to simplify customer’s data on cloud

As a part of collaboration, to simplify and modernise customer’s journey to the cloud through their project embrace, SAP and Microsoft have announced partnership to access customer adoption of SAP/4HANA and SAP cloud platform on Microsoft Azure.

This new partnership helps clients to run operations hosted at remote servers supported by SAP flagship and SAP/4 HANA database as well as together SAP and Microsoft along with global network of system integrators to offer customers with unified reference architecture, roadmaps and market approved path. SAP also announced its financial results for third quarter 2019 ended. It showed that new cloud booking were up to 39%, cloud revenues up 37%.

Firstly in market cloud migration offering

Microsoft will resell components of SAP cloud platform along with Azure. This aims to migrate SAP ERP application to SAP S/4 HANA customers from on premise to public cloud. SAP will lead Microsoft Azure to move on SAP ERP to SAP S/4 HANA customers to the cloud through industry specific best practices. This includes future deployment and migration of existing direct SAP HANA enterprise cloud customers and cloud delivery services.

SAP is market leader in enterprise application software because in the third quarter, SAP reported 10% increase in revenue and 15% increase in operational profit helping in it to achieve an expansion of 1.7% in its operating margins. SAP also helps people and organizations deep business insights to stay ahead of their competitions.
