Establishing Data Centre to support E-commerce business
SAP announced the launch of its Singapore Data Centre for SAP Commerce Cloud solution for the business across the Asia Pacific region is enabling them to adopt digital commerce strategies to deliver better customer experiences. Digital commerce has emerged as a significant source of growth opportunities in this region.
Singapore plays a major role together with SAP’s network of APAC Data Centres in Hong Kong, Australia and China to ensuring that customers are able to deploy SAP Commerce Cloud with the e-commerce platform.

Singapore was selected to host SAP’s Data centre due to its geographical stability, loyalty to data privacy and will be default data centre for Southeast Asia and India. The SAP Commerce Cloud solution includes SAP Customer Experience portfolio, the SAP C/4HANA suite, SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud and SAP Customer Data Cloud Solution.

At the Google’s cloud summit at Singapore, Regional Director of Southeast Asia at Google Tim Synan, said, “We’re excited about the work we’re doing with SAP in Southeast Asia.” He also added, “We are seeing large GSIs such as Accenture and Deloitte significant multiyear wins through SAP and Google Cloud.”
