According to the agreement, the iService branded service centers would continue to run independently.
Servify, a Mumbai-based device management company announced that they will be acquiring Bengaluru based gadget repairs startup- iService in a cash and stock deal. Reportedly, post closure of the acquisition, the iService branded service centers would continue to run independently as it is not a part of the acquisition. Moreover, Ankit Chowdhary and Pratheek Kumar, iService founders along with its team members will join Servify soon.
Incepted in 2013, iService operates in two Indian cities and provides gadget repairs and services. According to Karthik Reddy, Co-founder, Blume Ventures, in 2017, iService raised its seed funding from Blue Ventures, which had provided funds to Servify as well in the past. The visions of both the companies are in alignment and therefore, the founders decided to join hands to shape the future of users’ device ownership experience.
iService aims to elevate customers’ post-sales experience
While speaking about the vision of iService, AnkitChowdhary stated, “The vision iService started with, was to help consumers solve problems with their devices. At the time, brands did not pay attention to after-sales service but that is starting to change. I believe Sreevathsa and Servify are well aligned in trying to do the same and we intend to bring all the learnings from the third party repair space to the brand authorised network, which will enable consumers to get the best in class services.”
Run by Service Lee Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Servify provides after-sale service to the customers in order to enhance their experience. Its clientage includes top brands like- Amazon, AmTrust, Apple, Croma, Godrej, Huawei, Ingram Micro, Micromax, Motorola/Lenovo, Nokia, OnePlus, OPPO, Panasonic, RealMe, Redington, Reliance Jio, Reliance Retail, Sangeetha Mobiles, Vodafone, and Xiaomi, among others.
