This round is led by Global Founder Capital
Crewdible, the Indonesian micro-warehousing start-up has raised 1.5 million dollars in a pre-series A round of funding. This round of funding is headed by Berlin-based Global Founders Capital. The new investment will be used by the company to enhance its business in the big cities of Indonesia. The company will improve its marketing strategy and organize its internal system to handle the needs of the customer and manage the traffic well.
The company enables e-commerce sellers to connect with warehouse owners to complete the orders. The company rents houses, offices and warehouses and utilizes them as micro warehouses. The process helps the firm to set up a warehouse anywhere, they can establish a warehouse in costly locations that are strategically important and cut down the cost by removing rental, setup and maintenance fees.
The funding will improve the service rendering of the company
Past year company was able to raise an amount which was not revealed from seed funding by angel investors. The company has grown 40 times from its origin in the last 12 months. Sony Gulton, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Credible said, “With our advanced, we want to support our sellers every step of the way, from 100,000 transactions a month.”
The company is a part of the first companion program launched by Gojek Xcelerate with the help of Digitaraya. Waresix is also a start-up out of Indonesia, providing warehouse services. It company has revealed it has grown leaps and bounds and might profit in the near future. Last October in a pre-series A funding the company raised 1.6 million US dollars.
