In the last few months, the world has seen various big players who are in the competition to provide vaccination. This global vaccination drive is probably one of the biggest drives in history. Here are the major players who are currently providing vaccination: Pfizer/BioNTecn, Moderna, AstraZeneca Vaccine, Gamaleya Research Institute, Janssen, Sinovac, and Bharat Biotech. However, there are few more companies that are in this race to provide vaccination globally. However, now that vaccination drive is in full swing, there are few effects of vaccination that can be seen on the patients. On 11 March 2021, European countries such as Denmark, Iceland, and Norway have adjourned the use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. There is an investigation in relation to the number of reports of blood clots. Magnus Heunicke who is the Health Minister of Denmark has said that the halt on the vaccination is a precautionary measure.
Moreover, AstraZeneca is also providing vaccination to Australia. This outbreak of news when traveled to Australia, Prime Minister Scott Morrison stated that as of now health authorizes had not raised any concerns about the vaccine and would continue to monitor development overseas.
In February, the AstraZeneca vaccine was approved to use in Australia. Also, in the same month, the country rollout Pfizer/BioTech COVID-19 vaccination. However, the country is all set to produce the vaccine in the country by the end of March.
