As the novel coronavirus continues to spread its fang across the world, the medical experts, researchers, and scientists are working restlessly to develop potential drugs and vaccines to combat the high infectious various. Even scientists from many countries have already claimed that their vaccine can cure serious patients. Recently, Patanjali has launched ‘Coronil and Swasari’, the first ayurvedic medicine against the coronavirus.
Claimed not an immunity booster but a cure, the medicine has been shown 100 percent favorable results during clinical trials on affected patients, at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar. Where the scientific community over the world is fighting hard, Acharya Balkrishnan, MD of Patanjali Ayurved, claimed the ‘Coronil and Swasari’ medicine developed by the company has been able to cure COVID-19 patients within 3-14 days.
“The whole country and the world were waiting for medicine or vaccine for coronavirus. We are proud to announce that the first Ayurvedic, clinically controlled trial based evidence and research-based medicine has been prepared by the combined efforts of Patanjali Research Centre and NIMS,” Yoga Guru Ramdev at a press conference in Haridwar.
According to reports, the first clinical controlled study, which took place in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and many other cities included 280 patients in the clinical trials and 100 percent of those recovered.
The Corona kit will be made available at just Rs 545 at Patanjali stores in a week. Also, an app will be launched for the delivery of the corona kit.

1) Severely symptomatic patients (SaO2 <90%)
2) Acute respiratory distress syndrome
3) Life expectancy less than 1 year due to other co-morbid conditions

1) RT-PCR confirmed cases
2) Age 15-60 years of age
Two random groups were formed, 1) Placebo arm and, 2) treatment arm for the clinical study plan.
Patanjali claims,
1) 100% recovery from coronavirus infection within 7 days of treatment with Patanjali Ayurvedic medicines.
2) hsCRP and IL-6 levels were reduced in the treatment group as compared to the placebo group.
3) Ayurvedic treatment showed weaker IL-6 response implicating a lesser chance of cytokine storm.

We appointed a team of scientists after the COVID-19 outbreak. Firstly, the simulation was done and compounds were identified which can fight the virus and stop its spread in the body. Then, we conducted a clinical case study on hundreds of positive patients and we have got 100 percent favorable results, Balkrishna said.
